Brockville Mayoral Debate Being Held October 14th, 2026

Brockville – Invitation from Tom Linton and Cameron Wales, candidates for Mayor of Brockville for a Mayoral Debate set for Wednesday, October 14th at Arts Hub Brockville.

In speaking with members of the community during this campaign, we have received many requests for a mayoral debate. Brockville residents want to hear about our ideas, our leadership styles, and where we stand on key issues affecting this city. We hear you!

We are pleased to invite all residents to attend a mayoral debate at Arts Hub Brockville (32 Park Street, Brockville) on Wednesday, October 14th, 2026 from 6:00 pm-8:30 pm, co-hosted by our campaigns and moderated by My Broadcasting Corporation (104.9 myFM and 103.7 Giant FM).

Doors will open at 5:30 pm and attendance is free.

We have invited all candidates for Brockville City Council and local school board trustee positions to kick off this event by speaking for 2-3 minutes each about their campaigns.

The Council and school board trustee portion of the evening will be followed by a mayoral debate featuring pre-submitted questions from members of the public. Those questions won’t be shared with either of our campaigns until they are asked during the debate.

Please watch for details on the question submission process from myFM and Giant FM over the next two weeks. We look forward to a great community discussion on October 14th, and we hope to see you there.

We also look forward to continuing these conversations on Thursday, October 15th at the all candidates meet and greet, hosted by the Brockville and District Chamber of Commerce at the Aquatarium from 5:30 pm-8:30 pm.
