Kemptville 73’s Lost 1-0 to Ottawa in Overtime on Saturday

Brockville – The Ottawa Junior Senators’ Graham scored 33 seconds into overtime to lift Ottawa to a 1-0 victory over the Kemptville 73’s on Saturday night at the Jim Durrell Sports Complex.

Neither team could find the scoresheet through three periods, with both goaltenders turning in outstanding performances.

Kemptville’s Turpin stopped all 18 Ottawa shots through regulation, while Reburn turned aside all 32 shots he faced.

The Jr. Senators finally broke through in overtime, with Graham converting a feed from Campbell and Molloy just 33 seconds into the extra frame to secure the win.

The 73’s travel to Carleton Place to play the Canadians tonight (Wednesday, September 30th) starting at 7:00pm.
