Disturbance and Threats Result in Arrest

Brockville – On October 2, 2026, at approximately 2:00pm, police were dispatched to Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Addictions and Mental Health (LLGMHA), located at 25 Front Avenue, following reports of a male causing a disturbance in the building’s lobby.

The 42-year-old male was reportedly upset, acting in a disruptive manner, and refusing to leave the premises. Prior to police arrival, the individual left the property.

Through the investigation, officers learned that as the male was departing, he threatened to cause bodily harm to a staff member. Police also determined that the individual was bound by a probation order requiring him to keep the peace and be of good behaviour.

Officers conducted a search of the area and located the suspect a short time later. He was arrested without incident and held for a bail hearing after being charged with uttering threats and failing to comply with probation.
