Brockville – The 10th Annual Leeds and Grenville Youth Cross Country Championships is being held othis Sunday, October 25th at Memorial Park in Brockville.
The event is hosted by the Brockville Legion Track & Field Club.
Registration is now open to athletes U8-U14 (Grades 1-8) who wish to run as an individuals, representing a school or running for a club. Entry fee is $10.
There is no qualification required for the championship and everyone is welcome to run!
Prizes are awarded to the top finishers in each age and gender with T-shirts generously sponsored by MERCH & TWIGS!

- 9:00am – U8 Girls/Boys – 1km
- 9:15am – U10 Girls – 1km
- 9:30am – U10 Boys – 1km
- 9:45am – U12 Girls – 2km
- 10:10am – U12 Boys – 2km
- 10:30am – U14 Girls – 2km
- 11:00am – U14 Boys – 2km
As well, the Rowan Dean Memorial 5k, is also being held on October 25th at Memorial Park.
Run, jog or walk your choice of the 5k or 3k course in Memorial Park in Brockville as they continue to honor Rowan’s spirit and love of the sport.
The Rowan Dean Memorial 5k starts at 11:00am. All of the proceeds from the run will go to the Brockville Legion Track & Field’s Rowan Dean Fund, which provides financial support to athletes who share his dream of training and competing.
