Brockville Police Service & Gananoque Police Service Temporarily Pauses Participation with Crime Stoppers

Brockville/Gananoque – Both the Brockville Police Service and the Gananoque Police Service have temporarily suspended their involvement with the Crime Stoppers program due to a cybersecurity breach involving Navigate360’s P3 platform, the third-party system used by Crime Stoppers to process anonymous tips.

Brockville – The Brockville Police Service has temporarily suspended its involvement with the Crime Stoppers program. This measure follows a cybersecurity breach involving Navigate360’s P3 platform, the third-party system used by Crime Stoppers to process anonymous tips.

This breach affects an independent, third-party platform and does not impact internal Brockville Police Service technology systems.

We are actively working to verify the scope of the breach and assess potential risks to individuals, confidential data, and ongoing investigations.

“The protection of confidential information and public trust is of utmost importance,” stated Chief Mark Noonan. “Any decision regarding future participation will be made only after an assessment of the findings are received and adequate security assurances have been established.”

During this temporary pause, members of the public must submit crime tips and public safety information directly to the Brockville Police Service.
