Also Looking for Residents Who Want to Help Out Handing Out Halloween Treats!
Augusta Twsp. – Augusta Fire Rescue will be hosting Indoor Trick or Treat at both of their stations this Saturday, October 31st for Halloween.
From 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM, both Augusta Fire Rescue stations in Maitland and North Augusta will open their doors to welcome trick-or-treaters from the community.
To make this event a success, they are also looking for residents who would like to come to either fire station and hand out Halloween treats to the children.
They will provide a table and two chairs; and ask that you bring your treats and Halloween spirit.
They also think this is a wonderful opportunity for seniors, residents who live alone, or anyone who may not feel comfortable opening their doors to trick-or-treaters at night to still enjoy Halloween in a welcoming community environment.
Please contact Augusta Fire Rescue if you would like to join them so they can plan for the number of participants at each station. Phone: 613-925-4231 ext. 202 or Email: atrickey@augusta.ca
