Westport – The Westport Rideaus won a 5-1 decision over the South Grenville Jr. Rangers on Friday night in NCJHL action.
Scoring the five goals for the Rideaus was Liam Simpson, scoring one in the first period followed by two more in the second period on goals by Robert Onion and Matthew Ullmann.
In the third both Matthew Ullmann and Jack Leonard each scored one goal.
Picking up the lone South Grenville goal was Colin Stacey in the second period.
The Rideaus host the Morrisburg Lions on Tuesday night at the WTC Centre. The puck drops at 7:45 pm.
The Rangers will host the Westport Rideaus on Saturday night starting at 7:30 pm.
