Brockville – The Snowfall Warning continues for today for Brockville, Prescott, Kemptville, Merrickville, Westport and Charleston Lake areas with heavy snow continuing today.
Additional snowfall amounts of 2 to 5 cm with reduced visibility in areas of heavy snow for this morning and into this afternoon.
The majority of the snow accumulations will be confined to grassy or elevated surfaces.
Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
If visibility is reduced while driving, slow down, watch for tail lights ahead and be prepared to stop. Take frequent breaks and avoid strain when clearing snow.
Please continue to monitor alerts and forecasts issued by Environment Canada. To report severe weather, send an email to ONstorm@ec.gc.ca or tweet reports using #ONStorm.
