‘Cops For Cancer’ Ride to Travel Through Leeds & Grenville Friday

Cross-Country Tour Arrival on June 14, 2024

Lansdowne – The Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is excited to welcome and encourage Vancouver Police Department Sergeant Dayne Campbell during his cross-country cycling tour to raise both awareness and funds for children battling cancer.

Sgt Campbell began his 7,000 km journey on May 6, 2024, and is anticipated to arrive at the Thousand Islands OPP Detachment, located at 874 County Road 3 in Lansdowne, in the early afternoon on June 14, 2024.

Sgt Campbell will be greeted by Leeds OPP and Township officials during his stop at the detachment. Members of the media are invited to the event and will be joined by Media Officer Joey Mason at the detachment.
