Local Athletes Competing at Olympic Trials in Montreal This Weekend

Brockville – Twenty-one local athletes will be competing this weekend, June 27th to 30th at the Olympic Trials in Montreal.

The event also serves as the Canadian National Championships for these athletes.

Those who will be competing are:

• Parker Levac – U20 Men’s 3000m, 5000m
• Jackson Witham – U20 Men’s 1500m
• Emma Morrow – U20 Men’s 3000m, 5000m
• Alexandre Humeault – U20 Men’s Decathlon
• Delali Afidenyo – U20 Men’s Triple Jump
• Leif Piatkowski – U20 Men’s High Jump
• Jacques Mboma – U20 Men’s 400m
• Tim Williams – U20 Men’s 110mH
• Rayane Link – U20 Men’s 800m
• Jonah Hawes- U20 Men’s 800m
• Alex Plant – U20 Men’s 800m
• U20 Men’s 4x400m – Rayane Link, Jonah Hawes, Alex Plant, Jacques Mboma
• Taylor Corney – Men’s Javelin
• William Kizell – Men’s Discus
• Tieghan Wallace – Woman’s 200m
• Chris Brennan – Men’s 400m, 200m
