Brockville – On April 22, 2025, at about 10:45 pm, police received a call regarding a motor vehicle collision where a vehicle struck a parked car on King St. W. Officers attended and determined that no one was injured in the incident.
Investigation revealed that the driver was a 21-year-old male. When officers spoke to the driver, it was immediately observed that he was impaired by alcohol. The arrest was made and taken to the Brockville Police Service for further testing. It was confirmed that he was about three times over the legal limit.
The vehicle was impounded, the driver’s licence suspended and charged with operation while impaired, operation while impaired – blood alcohol over 80mg and driving while under suspension. He was released with conditions and a future court date.
