Brockville – On May 8, 2025, at about 11:00 am, Brockville Police received information regarding a 37-year-old male who was in possession of a folding pocket knife and engaging in confrontations with people, in the area of Front Ave.
Investigation revealed that the subject was in the area and engaged in multiple confrontational conversations with other individuals. During these conversations, he made concerning comments where he questioned if people believed he would not use the knife to harm others.
It was also found that the subject was on a court order with a condition to keep the peace and be of good behaviour. Officers located the male and arrested him.
Once the male was searched, the knife was seized. He was held for a bail hearing after being charged with possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and breach of recognizance.
