
Brockville – Two people are facing possession of firearms and drug charges after Brockville Police conducted a traffic stop on Monday, May 12th.
Police say around 2:30 pm, after stopping the vehicle in the area of Stewart Boulevard, officers observed open alcohol inside the vehicle, which led to a search.
The two occupants were identified as a 31-year-old woman who was the driver and a 39-year-old man, a passenger.
Police said that the search found substances believed to be methamphetamine, cocaine, crack cocaine, three pellet pistols, over $700.00 in cash and scales.
Both were placed under arrest and each was charged with the offences of three counts of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and three counts of possession for trafficking in the substances previously mentioned.
They were held in custody for a bail hearing.
