Brockville – The Brockville Braves Junior A Hockey Club announced today that Head Coach Ryan Leonard has elected to pursue an opportunity in another league and will no longer serve as the club’s Head Coach.
The organization appreciates Ryan’s efforts during his time with the Braves and wishes him the very best in his future endeavours.
The Brockville Braves are committed to building a championship quality organization both on and off the ice.
“Our focus remains on the future of the Brockville Braves and providing our players, fans, sponsors, and community with a first-class hockey experience they can be proud of,” said team ownership.
As part of a comprehensive restructuring of the club’s hockey operations, the Braves are nearing a series of significant announcements that will help the organization reach new heights both on and off the ice.
“We believe these changes position our organization exceptionally well for the future,” ownership stated. “Our incoming hockey operations team brings tremendous experience, energy, and a shared commitment to player development, a positive culture, accountability, and building a first-class team in Brockville.”
As preparations continue for the upcoming season, the Brockville Braves remain focused on delivering a competitive team while building a foundation for sustained success. The organization looks forward to sharing additional details in the coming days as the next chapter of Braves hockey takes shape.
The Braves will be hosting our annual main camp July 11-12, 2026 at the Benson Centre in Cornwall. Those interested in competing for a spot at the Junior ‘A’ level may get full details on our website.
