Brockville – The Brockville Police Service was very busy this May as we recorded 1,532 calls for service.
This resulted in some calls of higher significance, which have been captured on our social media platforms.
Additionally, our response resulted in 61 arrests and 18 mental health apprehensions. Regarding enforcement and charges, officers laid a total of 158 Criminal Code charges and 145 Provincial Offence charges. Provincial Offences include traffic, liquor, tobacco and trespassing offences.
While these results are a snapshot of the results of work performed by the members of our service, it does not capture the overwhelming workload that takes place in the background that often can go unnoticed.
