
Rideau Lakes – The 27th annual Rideau Lakes Studio Tour is on this weekend, Saturday, June 28th and Sunday, July 29th, throughout Rideau Lakes.
Now in its 27th year, the Rideau Lakes Studio Tour is a cultural landmark, consistently showcasing talented local artists from across Rideau Lakes.
It has become a singular, enduring highlight in the region’s cultural fabric, celebrating artistic excellence and community spirit and contributing significantly to its cultural richness and diversity.
There are thirteen stops on the tour featuring 20 artists. The studios are Andrew Milne Studio, Blue Leaf Pottery, Chaffey’s Locks Community Centre, Seaman’s Haven, Maplecroft Studios, John Shea Fine Art, Kristi Bird & Havery Shultz, Niska Studios, Dreamscapes Rideau, Michael Doxey Pottery, Margaret Kelk Studio, and Rue Royale Studio.
The artists featured in the tour are, Andrew Milne, Wendy Low, Havery Shultz, Doug MacDonald, Ted Stewart, Shaun Seaman, Michael Doxey, John Shea, Kristi Bird, Robin Laffier, Alison Gow, Margaret Kelk, Barbara Osborne-Monaghan, Kathy Gaskin, Roberta McKinney, Dan Hughes, Michelle Reid, Adele Webster, Alison Lovatt Kendall, and Doris Van Den Brekel.
On the Tour, you’ll visit unique and inspiring studios. This is an opportunity to meet artists at work, learn about their inspirations, and enjoy refreshments. The spaces you’ll encounter are memorable, each offering a distinct experience that highlights the creativity and dedication of the artists involved.
