
Brockville – A 32-year-old driver is facing impaired driving charges after a three-vehicle collision on California Ave. on Friday, September 12th.
Police say around 11:20 a.m. on Friday, they received a report of a three-vehicle collision on California Ave.
After an investigation, police said that the vehicle being operated by the accused was travelling southbound on California Avenue when their vehicle rear-ended a vehicle, forcing it into the vehicle ahead.
The accused driver and one other passenger suffered minor injuries.
The driver was subsequently charged with impaired driving and driving with a blood alcohol concentration that exceeded 80 milligrams of alcohol in 100 millilitres of blood.
The accused was later released with a future court date.
