
Brockville – On September 17, 2025, at about 7:30 am, police received a call regarding a man with a weapon in the area of King Street East.
Investigation revealed that a 34-year-old man, who appeared to be under the influence of drugs, was partially clothed in the area. Another man in the area, who witnessed, approached the subject in an attempt to get him to cover himself. At that time, the subject brandished a pair of scissors, holding them in a manner that was threatening to the witnesses.
Shortly after, the subject was located and arrested. It was learned that the man was currently bound by five different probation orders for a variety of criminal offences. The subject was held in custody for a bail hearing for the offences of possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose and five counts of failing to comply with probation.
