Cardinal – Grenville OPP and the Edwardsburgh-Cardinal Fire Department are currently on the scene of what began as a house fire at 4:00 am Tuesday on Adelaide Street in Cardinal, according to the OPP, posted on their Facebook page this morning.
They said a second fire was also reported at the local fire station in Cardinal.
OPP say one man is in custody after fleeing from the second scene and then crashing into another car, causing minor injuries to the other driver.
Police say the investigation is ongoing at this time.
