
Brockville – On October 30, 2025, at about 1:00 pm, police received a report of a dispute between a couple that had turned violent. The dispute had taken place the previous day, October 29, at a residence in the area of Windsor Drive.
Investigation revealed that the victim and his 31-year-old partner were engaged in a verbal altercation. This escalated to the point that the subject began threatening to harm the victim and then striking them repeatedly in the head and body.
At one point, the subject was striking the victim while holding them on the ground, preventing them from leaving the residence. The victim sustained minor, non-life-threatening injuries and reported this incident to the police the following day.
On October 30, 2025, at about 3:00 pm, police located and arrested the subject. They were held in custody for a bail hearing after being charged with the offences of uttering threats, assault and forcible confinement.
