Brockville – Today, (Monday, November 24, 2025), Brockville General welcomed four physicians from the United Kingdom (UK) to tour its hospital. The visit provided an opportunity for the group to learn about practicing medicine in an Ontario medium-sized hospital and to connect with staff and physicians across multiple departments.
“We’re excited to welcome these physicians and for the opportunity to showcase what makes Brockville General special,” said Julie Caffin, President and CEO.

“In order to maintain the high-quality healthcare our community deserves, we recognize how important it is to bring as many physicians as possible to our community,” explained Dr. Greg Manning, Vice President and Chief of Staff. “Today’s visit is just one step in our overall recruitment plan for our hospital.”
Site tours are the latest effort by Brockville General to attract national and international talent to the hospital. In partnership with Health Workforce Innovations, Brockville General is promoting the unique appeal of practicing medicine in a community setting.
“We thank these physicians for taking the time to visit our hospital,” Caffin added. “We hope to welcome them, and other talented healthcare workers, to our hospital in the near future.”
