
Brockville – The annual Dive Brockville Adventure Centre’s Polar Bear Dip is being held on Thursday, January 1st at Centeen Park.
This year, they are raising money for Sandy Pines Wildlife Centre.
Dive Brockville Adventure Centre will be open at 11:00 am to start registration ($10 per dipper) with the dip starting at 12:00 pm at Centeen Park.
Dive Brockville Adventure Centre is providing in-water and shore support with chilli and hot chocolate back at the shop afterwards.
Dippers are encouraged to get sponsorship to raise money for Sandy Pine,s and pledge forms can be found on their website at www.divebrockville.com
Bring a towel, wear something on your feet to wear into the river and something warm to wrap yourself with after the dip.
