Lombardy – The Lombardy Agricultural Society is proudly celebrating 160 years of country hospitality with something for everyone this weekend at the 160th Lombardy Fair.
It runs from Friday, July 31st to Sunday, August 2nd at the Lombardy Fairgrounds.
They offer lots of exciting events and exhibits in the barn. Take in the exciting bash-up, bang-up Demolition Derby and the ever-popular Annual 4-H Club Dairy Achievement Day.
Gates and the midway open at 3:00pm on Friday afternoon. The official opening is set for 6:30pm.
Friday will also see, the Lanark Poultry 4H Club, Chicken Pie Bingo, Junior Fair Ambassador Contest, a Demolition Derby, with live music by a Chris Stapleton Tribute.
Saturday the gates open at 9:00am with the midway opening at 11:00am. It will feature, Meet the Keepers Wildlife Rescue, Team Shotgun Penning, a Fire Truck Show, a Baby Show, Highland Cattle Show, Lawn Mower Racing, Cornhole Tournament, Hay Bale Toss Competition, a Truck Pull and live music Saturday night is a Luke Combs Tribute.
On Sunday there will be the Ranch Hand Horse Show, Tractor Pull, the Leeds County Dairy 4H Show, and a Frying Pan Throw Competition.
