Brockville Bunnies Won Three Out of Four Games Over The Weekend

Brockville – The Brockville Bunnies won their first three games of the weekend before faltering in game four, but improve their overall record to 19 wins and 12 losses.

Saturday Game 1 Bunnies 7 -Massena Bombers 2:

Charlie Todd went six innings for the win, giving up four hits with 7 K’s. JJ Easton with a clean 7th, while Parker Ames had three hits (2s, d, 2RBIs).

Wyatt Last (s,t,rbi) and Matt Barkley(2s,3rbis) with two hits each, while Zadok Roiger, Nolan Orazietti and Eamon Morrison had singles.

Saturday Game 2 Bunnies 8 – Bombers 3:

Taylor Brayton gave up one hit over 5.1 innings for the win with 5 K’s, while Morrison finished up in relief. Roiger had 2 hits, while Brayton doubled with singles by Ames, Orazietti (2rbis), Barkley, Morrison and Todd.

Sunday Game 1 Bunnies 12 – Montreal Diamonds 2:

Aaron Roy had a solid outing getting the win and going 5 innings giving up 6 hits with 7 K’s. Roiger (2s,2rbis), Orazietti (s,d,2rbis), and Ames (s,d,rbi) with 2 hits apiece.

Todd and Barkley both doubled with 2 RBIs and Last with a RBI single.

Game 2 Diamonds 13 – Bunnies 0:

It was 2-0 going into the fourth and one bad inning with walks and hits that found holes, ended the game early.

Roiger with the loss with relief from Nick Beach, Mark Bowlby and Barkley. The Bunnies bats go quiet in the final game of the weekend with Last and Ames connecting for singles.

“The Bunnies can’t complain winning 3 of their 4 games” said the coaching staff.

Their is a team function on Wednesday night before the season ending Can-Am playoffs this weekend.
