Braves Lost 6-2 to Rockland on Saturday in CCHL

Rockland – The Rockland Nationals earned a 6–2 home victory over the Brockville Braves on Saturday night at the Rockland Arena.

Rockland opened the scoring early in the first period as Belleau struck 58 seconds in, before Brockville’s Lumsden answered late in the first.

Power-play goals by Brunet and Le Houillier in the second period put Rockland ahead, though Gill replied for Brockville. The Nationals pulled away in the third with goals from Kelloway (two) and Baril.

Ferguson stopped 19 of 21 shots for Rockland, while Brockville’s Li made 41 saves on 47 shots in the loss.

The Braves will host the Pembroke Lumber Kings at the Memorial Centre Friday night starting at 7:30 pm.
