Collaboration of Policing Partners Provides Results in a Traffic Enforcement Initiative

Brockville – On June 8, 2026, a joint traffic enforcement blitz was conducted in collaboration between Brockville Police Service and the OPP TIME Team (Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement).

This coordinated initiative focused on enhancing road safety through targeted enforcement and strengthening inter-agency collaboration.

A total of 45 traffic related charges were laid during the enforcement blitz. Enforcement was performed at various areas throughout the city. This initiative successfully addressed a range of high-risk driving behaviours through proactive and visible enforcement.

Charges were issued and some vehicles were impounded or towed in relation to the following areas of offences, but not limited to:

  • Speeding
  • Stunt Driving
  • Expired Validation Permits
  • Improper Mufflers
  • Disobey Stop Signs
  • Fail to Wear Seatbelt
  • Drive Without a Licence
  • No Insurance Offences

The results demonstrate a continued need for focused enforcement initiatives while highlighting the effectiveness of inter-agency collaboration. We thank our policing partners at the OPP for their commitment to safety and our partnership.
