VIDEO HIGHLIGHTS: Braves Lost 6-2 to Hawkesbury Wednesday Night in CCHL

Hawkesbury – The Hawkesbury Hawks erupted for four third-period goals to defeat the Brockville Braves 6–2 Wednesday night at the Robert Hartley Sports Complex.

Hawkesbury opened the scoring on a goal by Graves before Brockville answered through Buller to make it 1–1 after one. McNally gave the Braves a brief lead with a shorthanded marker in the second, but Lacoste responded on the power play to send the game into the third period tied.

The Hawks took over from there, with Anderson, Lalonde, Agnese and Lacoste adding to the lead in the final frame.

Michelow made 24 saves for the win, while Caley stopped 37 of 43 shots in the loss and Galbraith turned aside all six shots he faced in relief.

Braves captain, Kayden Buller notched his 18th goal of the year and a special acknowledgement to Ryan “The Rat” Mcnally for scoring his 17th of the year.

The Braves will host the Carleton Place Canadians this Friday night for their second last regular season game at the Memorial Centre. The puck drops at 7:30 pm.
