Gananoque – A heartfelt thank you to everyone who embraced the cold and took the plunge into the St. Lawrence on Sunday, March 15th in Gananoque.
Gananoque Police Service alongside local emergency services and community partners plunged into the icy waters of the St. Lawrence River this past Sunday, braving the cold for a fantastic cause.
Over 25 jumpers participated in the annual event held at the Thousand Islands Boat Museum docks.
Your bravery and enthusiasm were truly inspiring. We’re also incredibly grateful to our dedicated volunteers who kept everything running seamlessly, and to all who generously supported Special Olympics through their donations.
It’s the passion and strong sense of community, year after year, that make events like this so meaningful and successful.
Special thanks to Adia from Lawn Wishes, the Gananoque Boat Museum, and our incredible divers from Neptune and Salacia Diving for their support in making the day unforgettable.
All funds raised will support programming and events for 23,000 athletes across the province.
