Unofficial List of Candidates for City of Brockville Municipal Elections as of May 19, 2026

Brockville – The municipal elections for municipalities in Ontario is being held on Monday, October 26, 2026.

The nomination period runs from Friday, May 1st to Friday, August 21, 2026 at 2:00 pm.

As of May 19, 2026, the unofficial List of Candidates for the 2026 Municipal Election in the City of Brockville are as follows*:

The City Clerk will certify nominations on or before 2:00 p.m. on August 24, 2026.

Eligible voters will elect several different positions including:

• Mayor;
• Eight (8) Councillors (elected at large); and
• School Board Trustees (elected at large) for each of the four (4) school boards

Nomination papers will be accepted at City Hall on a first-come, first-served basis until Friday, August 21, 2026 at 2:00 pm.

Walk-ins are welcome, however prospective candidates are encouraged to call ahead to ensure someone is available to accept the paperwork. The elections office can be reached at 613-342-8772 X 4444 or by email at elections@brockville.com.

Once elected, members of Council serve a four-year term. The current term of Council began in November 2022, and the next term of Council will commence in November 2026.
