
Prescott – The second annual Prescott Ribfest in support of BGC South East was held over the weekend at Fort Wellington in Prescott.

“A huge thank you to Prescott and Fort Wellington for helping make Prescott Ribfest possible! Your partnership and support helped bring this event to life!” said the Prescott Ribfest Committee. “A special thank you to Arbru Solar Brewery for running the Beer Tent all weekend long! Thank you to everyone who came out to support, volunteer, vendor, sponsor or celebrate with us. You helped make the 2nd Annual Prescott Ribfest one to remember!”
It featured two ribbers, Ribs Royal BBQ and Dinosaur Smokehouse along with food trucks.
There was also a kids zone with inflatables, a petting zoo, face painting and a Vendor Village showcasing local artisans and small businesses, a beverage garden and more.
It also included the Ribfest Idol Auditions, with participants moving on the Ribfest Ido competition at the Brockville Ribfest in August.
Live music over the weekend included, IssaBel, Gabrielle Salmon and Spencer Scharf .
Funds raised through Prescott Ribfest directly support programs at BGC South East designed for youth ages 8-16, an important stage of development where access to safe spaces, mentorship, recreation, social connection, leadership opportunities, and skill-building can have a lasting impact.
