Elizabethtown-Kitlwy – Michael (Mike) Michaud, MCIP, RPP has recently joined the Township of ElizabethtownKitley as the Director of Development Services.
A Registered Professional Planner with more than 35 years of experience in municipal planning, land development, and project management, Mike brings a wealth of knowledge from senior leadership roles in both the public and private sectors.
Throughout his career, Mike has led planning departments, managed complex development projects, and worked closely with councils, developers, government agencies, and community stakeholders to deliver effective and sustainable planning solutions. His expertise includes land use planning, development approvals, policy development, Official Plans, zoning, and municipal governance.
Mike is a graduate of the University of Waterloo with an Honours Bachelor of Environmental Studies in Urban and Regional Planning and is a full member of the Canadian Institute of Planners, the Ontario Professional Planners Institute, and a Registered Professional Planner (RPP).
The Township is pleased to welcome Mike to the senior leadership team and looks forward to the experience and leadership he will bring to the organization and the community.
