Elgin – The annual Elgin Days is set to take place this Thursday, Friday, Saturday and Sunday in the village.
Anniversary Jubilee is the theme for the 2023 Elgin Days.
Everything gets underway on Thursday with a Bingo at the Lions Hall at 6:45 pm as well as the silent auction begins.
At 7:30 pm is the pre-show entertainment and outdoor movie at Heritage Park.
Friday evening there will be Yuk Yuks comedy at 6:00 pm at the Lions Hall, Disco Rollerskating at the Elgin Rink from 6:00 pm to 10:00 pm and a 4-handed Euchre tourney at the Elgin Hall at 7:30 pm.
On Saturday there is a full schedule of events, some of which will include, an egg McMuffin breakfast, village-wide yard sales, pancake breakfast, Frozen pie sale, vendors market, live music, bouncy castles, petting zoo, chicken BBQ, and more. The annual Elgin Days Parade starts at 2:00 pm down Main Street.
Sunday the Red Brick School House will have an open house, the silent auction ends at 4:00 pm and a 4-handed euchre tournament at the Lions Hall.
