Morrisburg – Spine-tingling adventure awaits as Ghosts of Upper Canada Village Walking Tours by The Haunted Walk return to Upper Canada Village this summer. On select weekend evenings in July, August and early September, guests will have the rare opportunity to explore the historic pioneer Village after hours by lantern light, delving into a spookier side of the Village’s history.

The Ghosts of Upper Canada Village Walking Tour promises a memorable experience, immersing participants in chilling tales and legends that have endured over the years. Led by knowledgeable guides, guests will wander through the darkened Village by lantern light, uncovering the secrets and supernatural stories that linger within the historic buildings.

While the majority of the tour takes place outdoors, attendees will have the chance to venture inside a selection of haunted structures along the way. From eerie ghostly apparitions to mysterious sounds and unexplained phenomena, this tour offers an evening of suspense, history, and paranormal encounters.

Operated by ghost tour and paranormal adventure experts, The Haunted Walk, tours must be booked through The Haunted Walk and online ticket purchases prior to arrival are recommended due to popularity.

Depicting life in a rural Canadian setting during the year 1866, Upper Canada Village is one of the largest living-history museums in Canada. It was founded in 1961 and features more than 40 historic buildings, many of which were moved to the Village from the “Lost Villages” to preserve them prior to the flooding for the St. Lawrence Seaway development project.
