Augusta Twsp. – The 26th annual Harvest Days Demonstrations hosted by Antique Wheels in Motion will be taking place on Saturday, August 26th and Sunday, August 27th at 5877 County Road 18 near Roebuck.
There will be working demonstrations from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm of various antique farm equipment from the past, including tractors, threshing machines, hit-and-miss engines, horse-powered equipment, grinders, binders, plowing and more.
There will be a BBQ Chicken Dinner on Saturday night with advance sales only by contacting Brent Christie at 613-802-0369. The cost of the chicken dinner is $22 with pickup beginning at 4:00 pm.
On Sunday, the Old Time Farmer’s Breakfast is being held from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. The cost is $12.50 for adults and $6 for children 12 and under. Please cash only for the breakfast.
There will also be live entertainment on Sunday from 10:00 am to 3:00 pm by Hillbilly Highway.
The Antique Wheels in Motion is a non-profit club promoting the early wheels of agriculture in Eastern Ontario through shows and demonstrations.
