Athens – The Clay Studio Collective attended the Athens Corn Fest on Saturday and provided various opportunities for interaction with pottery and clay. There was a pottery sale with handmade functional and sculptural works for sale, handcrafted and donated by local potters in our community.
Two interactive events included ‘Tile-A-Community’ and ‘Clay for Kids’ both offering hands-on decorative and building techniques. The following are some photos from our successful event.
We were warmly received by the community and local companies who expressed excitement that an Arts Studio will be open in the village this fall.
