Brockville – The Brockville Operatic Society and the Brockville Theatre Guild are facing a large rent hike from the city for the Musi-Theatre Building at the Brockville Arts Centre (BAC).
Both organizations say they a facing new rental costs that are more than doubling of what they paid in the past. In 2022 each group paid $2.65 per square foot of $6,247. The new 2-year lease proposed is asking for $4 per square foot, then $5.50 next year.
