Shubenacadie Sam, Fred la Marmotte and Punxsutawney Phil in forecasting an early spring. However, Lucy the Lobster saw her shadow and is forecasting 6 more weeks of winter.
After a split start from the East, we’ve now heard from Wiarton Willie of Wiarton, Ontario. The famous groundhog did not see his shadow. According to legend, this means we can start planning for an early spring.
