Leeds & Grenville – The fire departments across the United Counties of Leeds & Grenville are participating in the Chief Fire Officers Association of Leeds and Grenville Fire Department Food Drive during the entire month of March.
Drop your donations off at any fire station across the United Counties to help our local food banks!
Elizabethtown-Kitley Fire Department is holding a Fill-a-Truck event on Saturday, March 9, 2024, from 10:00 a.m.- 2:00 p.m. at Chit-Chat Convenience Store in Lyn and Kitley Grocery & Service Centre in Toledo.
They will also be accepting donations at 4 locations for the month of March. You can drop your food donations off at Station 1, Lyn, Township of Elizabethtown-Kitley township office in New Dublin, Billings Automotive at County Rd 2 and County Rd 46 (Lyn Road), and Chit-Chat Convenience Store on Main St. in Lyn.
In Merrickville, donations are being accepted at the Merrickville Municipal office at 317 Brock Street and Merrickville Food Market, with special events to be announced.
The Athens Fire Department will be hosting a Food Drive on Saturday, March 23rd. Firefighters will be at the Fire Hall between 8 am to 4 pm to receive your donation.
In North Grenville, the fire service will be accepting donations from Monday to Friday, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the North Grenville Fire Station, at 259 CR 44.
They are accepting donations of non-perishable food items or monetary cash donations.
