Brockville’s Galaxy Cinemas to Close in July

Brockville – The Galaxy Cinemas in Brockville will close this July for good according to a spokesman of Cineplex Entertainment the theatre owners.

In a statement from Cineplex’s executive director of operations for the Quebec West and Ontario East region Jason Benway, he said, “Our lease was up and we made the very difficult decision not to renew it, Thanks to our employees and the local community for all their dedication and support over the past 18 years.”

They are targeting for an end-of-day closure on July 17th.
