
Brockville – On June 8, 2025, at about 8:00 pm, police received a 911 call to the area of Boston Pizza in regards to an argument between a male and female couple.
Investigation revealed that a male and his 28-year-old fiancée were at the restaurant parking lot.
The female was in the driver’s seat of their vehicle, and the male was attempting to remove her as he believed that she had consumed too much alcohol to drive.
There was a physical struggle that occurred to remove her from the vehicle, which also involved the male being struck in the face by the female subject. The male victim received non-life-threatening injuries.
As a result, the 28-year-old female was arrested and charged with assault. Later, she was released from custody with conditions and a future court date.
