
Spencerville – Members of the Grenville County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a person with impaired driving after multiple vehicles were struck by a single vehicle.
OPP say on Friday, September 12, 2025, just before 11:00 p.m., officers responded to reports of a collision on Centre Street in Spencerville. Multiple vehicles and a hydro pole were damaged during the incident, and one person was taken to the hospital with minor injuries.
Police say the driver, Reese Moffitt, age 23, from North Grenville was arrested and transported to the OPP Detachment for testing and charged with dangerous operation of a vehicle, operation while impaired and operation while impaired with a blood alcohol concentration of 80 plus.
OPP say the driver was released from custody and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on Friday, October 10, 2025.
Grenville County OPP say the investigation is ongoing.
