
Brockville – One person was arrested and charged following a drug trafficking investigation conducted by the Leeds County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police. (OPP)
On Thursday, September 18, 2025, the Leeds OPP Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU), the OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT), the OPP Canine Unit, the OPP Tactics and Rescue Unit (TRU) and members of the Brockville Police Service executed a warrant at a residence in the City of Brockville.
Officers located a quantity of suspected cocaine and methamphetamine, as well as a pellet gun, brass knuckles, a baton, bear mace, Canadian currency, counterfeit currency, and other items commonly associated with drug trafficking.
48-year-old Andrew CHURCH of Brockville has been charged with the following offences:
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking
- Unauthorized possession of a weapon
- Possession of a firearm or ammunition contrary to a prohibition order
- Fail to comply with the probation order
- Possession of counterfeit money
The accused was remanded into custody following a bail hearing and is scheduled to reappear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brockville on September 22, 2025.
