
Brockville – On October 2, 2025, the City of Brockville was notified by CN Railway and confirmed that the Ormond Street railway crossing will be closed starting at 7:00 am on Friday, October 3, 2025.
It will remain closed until the repairs are complete. The expected completion time is Saturday evening on October 4, 2025. Detour routes will be in place.
Repairs will be made to the tracks to reduce/eliminate track bounce to ensure a smoother transition. No asphalt work is being done at this location.
A reminder that the Perth Street crossing is also under repair. Alternate routes for north and south travel may use Stewart Blvd/William overpass, North Augusta Road, Oxford Avenue and Park Street.
