
Brockville – On September 29th, 2025, the Brockville Police investigated a sexual assault that occurred in the city’s north end.
As a result of the investigation, officers identified a suspect and uncovered connections with harassment incidents reported in May of 2024 near the Mac Johnson Conservation Area.
On October 2nd, a search warrant was executed at a Brockville residence, which led to the arrest of the accused and multiple charges.
The accused is a forty-three-year-old male who has been charged with one count of sexual assault and five counts of criminal harassment. The suspect remains in custody awaiting a bail hearing.
The Brockville Police Service encourages anyone who has been, or believes they have been, the victim of stalking, harassment, or sexual assault to speak with a police officer.
Harassing behaviours include being repeatedly approached or followed by someone; ongoing unwanted communication; consistently and unwantedly attending a workplace, home and/or another place frequented by the victim, or engaging in threatening conduct.
