
Leeds-Grenville – The United Counties of Leeds and Grenville are hosting a Household Hazardous Waste Day this Saturday, October 11th.
Residents can drop off household hazardous waste between 8:30 a.m. and 2 p.m. at one of these locations:
- Spencerville Fair Grounds, Goodin Road entrance (north end of fairgrounds) Spencerville, ON
- North Grenville County Patrol garage, 720 Cty. Rd. 44, Kemptville (just south of Kemptville)

Residents of Leeds & Grenville, Gananoque, and Prescott can drop off household hazardous waste free of charge.
Accepted Household Hazardous Waste Items:
- Batteries
- Light bulbs (excluding ballasts)
- Propane tanks (both small and large)
- Antifreeze
- Gasoline, oil, and oil filters
- Driveway sealers
- Paints, stains, and related products
- Pesticides and fertilizers
- Pharmaceuticals and sharp objects
- Pool chemicals
- Household cleaning products (e.g., aerosols, bleach, ammonia)
Items Not Accepted:
- Ammunition, explosives, flares
- Electronics and appliances
- Tires and construction waste
- Items containing mercury or PCBs
- Commercial and industrial waste
Important Notes:
- Only waste from residents of Leeds and Grenville, Gananoque, and Prescott will be accepted.
- Waste from other municipalities, including Brockville, will not be accepted.
