Brockville – The Brockville Fire Department (BFD) responded to a house fire early Wednesday morning on Windsor Drive near Mary Street in the city’s north end.
The BFD arrived on scene around 4:25 this morning, where it was confirmed that it was a working fire.
“This morning, Brockville Fire Department responded to a fire in a semi-detached residential building in the north end. The first arriving apparatus was on scene in under three minutes from the time of call, where firefighters encountered heavy fire on an exterior wall extending into the roof structure,” said the BFD.
They said that crews worked quickly to contain the fire to the unit of origin, with only smoke migrating into the adjoining home.
No injuries were reported, and residents from both homes were assisted on scene by Victim Services.
“We extend our thanks to all our community partners for their support and cooperation,” said the BFD.
