
Brockville – Brockville Police have arrested a 55-year-old man after the theft of two delivery vans from the Home Depot store on Parkedale Avenue in the city.
Police say they received information regarding the two stolen vehicles on December 10, 2025, at approximately 6:00 pm. The information was that a man had rented two delivery-style vans from Home Depot on November 30, 2025.
They were rented for a short period and were supposed to be returned later that same day; however, by December 10th, they had not been returned, and the suspect was not responding.
Police said an arrest warrant was sought for the male suspect responsible for the rentals. Then on December 18, 2025, at approximately 12:00 pm, the Brockville Police Service received information from the OPP that they had located the wanted subject at the Mallorytown, 401 Service Centre.
The suspect was arrested and transported to the Brockville Police Service, where he was charged with two counts of theft of a motor vehicle and held for a bail hearing.
