
Tincap – One of the most popular annual traditions in the Brockville area returns for another year.
Area residents and visitors alike are invited to join the Friends of Mac Johnson Wildlife Area for their annual Family Day Winter Festival, which takes place on the property on Monday, Feb. 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
As in past years, the event features lots of family-friendly activities, including a snow village, photo booth, snowshoeing, campfire treats, scavenger hunt, canteen and much more.
The Mush LaRose Dog Sled teams are back and always a highlight of the day. Admission is by donation.
Schedule:
- 10 a.m.-2 p.m. – Kids Zone
- 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Dogsled Races
- 11 a.m.-1 p.m. – Campfire
- 10 a.m.-1 p.m. – Canteen (chilli, hot dogs, sausages and drinks)
