
Renfrew – The Renfrew Wolves recorded a 2–1 overtime win over the Kemptville 73’s last Saturday night at the MyFM Centre Recreation Complex in Renfrew.
Kemptville opened the scoring in the first period with a goal from Achim, before Renfrew tied the game late in the second period on a marker from Jukes.
The third period went scoreless, sending the game to overtime, where Lalande scored just 18 seconds into the extra frame to secure the win for Renfrew. In goal, Ogini stopped 30 of 31 shots for the Wolves, while Carswell made 28 saves on 30 shots for Kemptville.
The 73s travel to Hawkesbury on Friday night to face the Hawks. Game time is 7:30 pm.
