
Brockville – As we head into Family Day Weekend, here’s what residents and visitors need to know about City services, facility closures, and special events taking place in Brockville.
City Service Closures:
The following municipal facilities and services will be impacted:
- City Hall – Closed Monday
- Brockville Museum – Closed Monday
- Brockville Public Library – Closed Sunday & Monday
- City Transit – No service on Monday
- Garbage Collection – Collection will be pushed one day later than usual

A reminder that garbage should not be set out the night prior. Please place materials curbside after 5:00 a.m. on your scheduled collection day.

Outdoor Rotary Rink Schedule:
Due to the Brockville Winter Classic, there will be temporary closures and schedule adjustments at the Outdoor Rotary Rink:
- February 12 – Closed all day
- February 13 – Open 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- February 14 – Closed 8:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
- Open 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- February 15 – Open 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- February 16 – Closed 8:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m.
- RBC Family Day Skate: 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.
- Opens at 2:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
- February 17 – Open 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.

Temporary Street Closure:
To accommodate the Brockville Winter Classic, George Street (between Beecher Street and Gilmour Street) will be closed on Saturday, February 14th, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm.
Please plan accordingly and use alternate routes during this time.
